Amanda Evans assists Dr. Anthony Lee in surgery and in clinic seeing patients both pre-operatively and post-operatively.
She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She went on to obtain her Registered Nurse First Assistant certification from the National Institute of First Assisting in Colorado.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Amanda’s nursing career consisted of being a Trauma ICU nurse. She chose the field of neurosurgery because she enjoys the challenge of treating complex patients, including those with head and spinal injuries, as well as she feels she the compassion it required to care for the patient and their families.
Amanda grew up in Fort Worth and in her spare time, she enjoys crafts, gardening, travel, and spending time with her husband and two children.
