He received his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from The Medical University of South Carolina. He chose the specialty of neurosurgery because he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and wanted a career in which he could work with his hands. The complexity of neurosurgery allows him to do just that, wether it’s clipping an Aneurism or an arteriovenous malformation
Mark is a native Texan. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, his English Bulldog, Australian Shepherd and cat. He loves being outdoors and enjoys boating, going to the beach, golfing, skiing and driving his Jeep. A fun fact about Mark: he and his family have recently hosted an Italian exchange student.
